About Russell Bowyer

Founder, Chartered Accountant, Business Owner, Software Creator.

I founded Bowraven in 1990, and over the years, I’ve developed a range of business software and tools—many of which I first built for my own companies.

My background includes:

  • Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 1988.
  • Becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser (CIOT) in 1993.
  • Running my own Chartered Accounting Practice, which I sold in 2003.
  • Part-owned an Elderly Care Business.
  • Acquiring and scaling a multi-million-pound manufacturing company.

I’ve also been featured in the Financial Mail during the acquisition of my last business (read the article on This is Money below).
